The town of Altrip is near Mannheim and Ludwigshafen. The Blaue Adria campsite, which is divided into several plots, offers plenty of space for mobile homes, tents and bicycle caravans (FaWoWa). There are several smaller lakes in the immediate vicinity, as well as the Rhine. The best way to reach this campsite is by vehicle. I took the train 🚂🚃 to Rheingönheim. There I changed to bus 570 and went to the stop "Weißes Häusl'e. From here I continued on foot 🥾🥾, about 3 km. A bicycle caravan meeting took place at the Blaue Adria campsite from September 20th to September 22nd, 2024. Here there were various FaWoWa to marvel at and I was able to talk to the owners about construction, materials, electronics, etc.

Nice, rather lonely place to relax in nature. Every now and then there are anglers on site. Not suitable for swimming.

The view from the outside terrace of the Neuhöfer Altrhein and the jetty is beautiful. Uncomplicated but delicious Croatian cuisine with a large selection of side dishes. Definitely recommended as part of a short trip to the Blue Adriatic or to the banks of the Rhine.
